Charles learned the ropes from the ground up, completing his NVQ marked the beginning of his journey ‘on the floor’ before moving the renowned Electric London where honed his skills. Charles embraced every opportunity to enhance his skills, whether through formal training or collaborative learning with colleagues, in session and stage work.
Charles’ achievements stand as a testament to his dedication and innovation. His crowning achievement, founding Crate Cheshire showcases his entrepreneurial spirit and determination. His achievements also include accolades such as a British Hairdressing Business Award, being crowned the Business Builder at the Most Wanted IT List Awards, L’Oreal Colour Trophy Final participation and recognition from prestigious industry platforms including the Modern Barber Awards, British Master Barbers and more.
Luke has been hairdressing for six years, spending time in both ladies and gents salons, across Cheshire.
Luke joined the Crate Cheshire team to focus on his passion for gentlemen's hairdressing. His hard work and commitment to the brand has seen him promoted to a Creative director at Crate Cheshire. This meaning he works closely with Charles to over see all education and look after our academy at Crate Cheshire.
Luke is confident in all clipper, scissor and colour work.
Lauren joined the Crate Cheshire Knutsford team in 2025 and is very passionate about Gentlemen's hairdressing.
Lauren loves the creativity of hairdressing and this is clear to see through her work.
Lauren has a wealth of experience and has quickly built up a busy clientele. Lauren is looking forward to having you in the salon.
Sam is a recent Graduate from our NVQ Level 2 course, having completed his training in our Crate Academy.
Sam's hard work and talent shone through, and he can't wait to welcome you into the salon.
Sam's commitment to barbering shows through his creative work and has become a valuable member of the team very quickly.
