The team in Macclesfield are very passionate about providing a high level of service and top quality hair cuts to their clients. All of our team are fully qualified hairdressers, offering more than just a barber experience, striving to bring the salon experience to men's hairdressing.

Our team spend time getting to know their client's hair and can tailor the cut to achieve their desire results.
Crate Cheshire Macclesfield is pleased to offer a 20% introductory discount for client's on their first cut and finish at the salon (excluding children's cuts and colour services).

Charles’ journey into the world of hair began with a childhood fascination nurtured by close relatives and friends who were already immersed in the industry. Seeing their joy and creative flair, he was hooked. The industry’s diverse paths, from salon styling to education and stages, ignited his ever growing passion.
Charles learned the ropes from the ground up, completing his NVQ marked the beginning of his journey ‘one the floor’ before moving the renowned Electric London where honed his skills. Charles embraced every opportunity to enhance his skills, whether through formal training or collaborative learning with colleagues, in session and stage work.
Charles’ achievements stand as a testament to his dedication and innovation. His crowning achievement, founding Crate Cheshire showcases his entrepreneurial spirit and determination. His achievements also include accolades such as a British Hairdressing Business Award, being crowned the Business Builder at the Most Wanted IT List Awards, L’Oreal Colour Trophy Final participation and recognition from prestigious industry platforms including the Modern Barber Awards, British Master Barbers and more.
Crate Cheshire reflects Charles’ vision for modern hairdressing. He aimed to blend traditional salons and barbershops, offering a premium experience for all. The salon’s movement towards gender neutrality demonstrates his commitment to inclusivity and making every client feel valued.
Charles envisions continuous growth for his team and the brand with the inauguration of the Crate Cheshire Academy where he aims to spread his expertise and create opportunities for others.
Aidan
Salon Director/Owner
Aidan has been hairdressing for ten years and has always worked within the Region. Aidan is a Director of Crate Cheshire Macclesfield and works across Macclesfield and Knutsford.
He has spent his time in the industry perfecting both ladies and gents hair, but his real passion lies within gentlemen's hairdressing.

Aidan likes pushing himself to further his career and is always seeking new ways to develop his skills.

Aidan specialises in scissor cuts across all hair types and lengths.
